TraceOrg is a medical image segmentation research platform developed for academic and clinical research purposes. This Privacy Policy describes how we collect, use, and protect information when you use the TraceOrg platform.
When you create an account, we collect your email address and password (stored in hashed form). We may also collect your name and institutional affiliation.
You may upload medical imaging data (DICOM or NIfTI files) for processing. We recommend anonymizing all data before upload. Uploaded images are stored on the local server infrastructure and are not transmitted to third-party services.
We collect basic usage logs including login timestamps, job submissions, and system access patterns for security monitoring and platform improvement.
Each user can only access their own subjects, studies, and analysis results. Administrator users may access all data for platform management and quality assurance purposes. You retain ownership of all data you upload to the platform.
All data is stored on local infrastructure. We use industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections, hashed passwords, and two-factor authentication. Medical imaging data is stored on the local filesystem with access controls.
Your data is retained as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by contacting the platform administrators.
This platform is intended for research use only. Aggregated, de-identified data may be used to improve segmentation models and advance medical imaging research. No individually identifiable data will be shared without explicit consent.
For questions about this Privacy Policy or data practices, contact the TraceOrg research team at your institution.
